Book Feature: Saved by the Wolf by Nola Li Gordon
Fate is calling. Escape is futile.
Jill: His voice connects with something deep inside of me, and all I want is to be in his arms. But the bruises from my last relationship have only just healed, and the way his friends follow his every command reminds me too much of my ex. And yet, there’s something about him that calls to me. He’s the one my heart demands . . . .
Luc: She’s timid and shy, and even though she’s human, my wolf is drawn to her. He’s the happiest when I’m next to her and wants me to claim her as my own. But after my last relationship, I have sworn off love, and the last thing I want is to be hurt again. Yet, no matter my reasons, my wolf just won’t let go . . . .
Saved by the Wolf is the first book in the McCullough Pack series - a sweet paranormal romance. All the love without the spice, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
From Nola Li Gordon on Saved by the Wolf:
The most interesting thing I found while researching for this book was that there were people who wanted to read sweet paranormal romance! There are a lot of contemporary sweet romance and steamy paranormal romance books.
Jill and Luc’s story was my first foray into paranormal romance, and it started out as a steamy romance. But as I wrote, I started hearing moms looking for non-steamy paranormal romances so that their children could read them. Hence, Jill and Luc’s story changed course and became the sweet paranormal romance it is now.
It changed the direction of the story, and I really love how it turned out. I love the fated mate trope, and Jill and Luc’s story is no exception. They are coming out of bad relationships. Neither are looking for a partner in life, but sparks fly when they see each other. It’s the adventure and mystery that gets them to their happily ever after that’ll keep you turning the pages.
